2024 Land Cruiser is IDENTICAL to 2024 Lexus GX

As we wait for the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser world premiere on August 1st, I could not help but have a little fun with some released pictures.

Toyota has been teasing the return of our favorite luxury utility SUV on Toyota USA social media platforms, as well as the Global Toyota Newsroom website.

I learned that the soon-to-debut Land Cruiser is not only similar to the just-released 2024 Lexus GX 550, but it is nearly identical in many ways.

2024 Land Cruiser Teaser

The newest Toyota Land Cruiser teaser photo shows a portion of the new front end.

Land Cruiser fans should really appreciate this bold, tough, and rugged styling. We can see the return of the “TOYOTA” heritage grille, a multi-terrain camera, parking sensors, and some hue of blue paint (maybe Cavalry Blue, Storm Cloud, or Heritage Blue?).

2024 Lexus GX 550

I cannot think of a better mate to share a body with than the 2024 Lexus GX 550. This is perhaps the coolest and boldest looking redesign I have ever seen.

I was fortunate to attend the Lexus GX world premiere recently and got to see two of the trim levels up close and personal – Overtrail and Premium. You will love them for their looks, their luxury, and their features.

The 2024 GX 550 is menacing and macho and refined all wrapped up in one amazing ride. Overtrail trim level, specifically, will be a head turner whether on the road or exploring any number of remote trails.

It was already assumed, but not confirmed, that there would be many shared tendencies with 2024 Lexus GX 550 and 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. Obviously, there will be many areas where they are entirely unique and one-of-a-kind. Both will be incredible in my eyes.

Compare the side panels, both in the fronts and the backs, and you can see these two will share many qualities and characteristics.

2024 Land Cruiser Back End

Specific features stand out as well. Both 2024 Land Cruiser and Lexus GX 550 come with a back window that pops open with the push of a button. This button is located in a triangular piece on the left side of the glass.

They are the same on both rides.

Mind blown.
