Leaked Photos of 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Have Buyers Seeing Army Green

Excitement is building for the release of the 2020 Toyota 4Runner, and especially for the TRD Pro. This is not a full redesign year, but there are some big upgrades that are sure to help new owners with extra safety, technology and convenience.

Army Green TRD Pro 4Runners are scheduled to begin shipping to dealerships across the country beginning in just a couple weeks. One of my online followers, who asked to remain anonymous, passed these pictures on to me. After seeing them, I cannot wait to see Army Green in person.

2020 4Runner has a new color – Army Green

Many Toyota trucks and SUVs, including the 2020 Tacoma, the 2020 Tundra and the 2020 Sequoia, are receiving a new color to the TRD Pro lineup. Army Green has been chosen as the exclusive TRD Pro color for the 2020 model year and buyers are lining up to check it out in person. This includes on the 2020 Toyota 4Runner as well.

What upgrades will the 2020 4Runner be getting?

Although there will be no changes to the powertrain, including the 4.0-liter V6 engine and the 5-speed automatic transmission, the 2020 4Runner will be receiving some nice updates.

First, all trim levels have standard Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P). This active safety package includes automatic high beams, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert and pre-collision system with pedestrian detection.

Also, look for a larger 8” touch screen for multimedia use that will allow passengers to use, for the first time ever in 4Runnrs, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with Alexa-enabled commands.

Expect standard Smart Key push button start on the 2020 4Runner TRD Pro models, as well as 2 new rear seat USB ports so passengers can charge their devices conveniently.

As it is already known for being tough on your off-roading adventures, new owners will carry an even tougher, cooler image when driving around their new Army Green 4Runners.
