Lime vs Lime – Exclusive Look at 2022 Tacoma Electric Lime Metallic and 4Runner Lime Rush

Have you ever looked at one of those celebrity magazines with photos of famous people wearing incredible clothes. There is always that one section that catches my eye:

“Who Wore It Best?”

Well today I am writing a spin-off of this same segment. I will show you two famous vehicles and you tell me who you think pulled it off the best.

Our two Toyota celebrities:

2022 Toyota Tacoma and 2022 Toyota 4Runner – both in lime.

2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro

The exclusive Toyota TRD Pro color for 2022 model year is Electric Lime Metallic. Talk about electric. This is more like shocking.

This Tacoma Electric Lime paint color is plenty of lime, a little bit of yellow, with some glossy metallic shine mixed in.

2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro

Lime Rush is the 2022 4Runner TRD Pro color. This is an interesting Toyota decision to me, because this is the first time Toyota has chosen multiple TRD Pro colors across the Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra and Sequoia lineup.

Although quite similar in shade, 4Runner Lime Rush and Tacoma Electric Lime Metallic are not identical.

Toyota 4Runner lime might be a little more yellow. Perhaps less metallic gloss.

2022 Tacoma vs 2022 4Runner

So, who has been given the better lime color: 2022 Toyota Tacoma or 2022 Toyota 4Runner? If you look at each vehicle separately, both Tacoma and 4Runner may look the same.

However, when put side-by-side, you can see the subtle differences.

Clearly the Toyota experts in charge of this “Lime-hue-gate” felt it was important to place different shades on each model. They picked the ideal hue that worked best.

Hopefully, Toyota Tacoma and Toyota 4Runner fans fall in love with them both.

I would love to know whether your vote goes to 2022 Toyota Tacoma in Electric Lime Metallic or to 2022 Toyota 4Runner in Lime Rush.

For me, I do like them both. I think fans and potential buyers who like the lime will want to place their orders as soon as they are ready.

My vote right now goes to Toyota Tacoma. I have not seen them up close and personal. So, my vote could change when they are both right next to me.
