This past week we saw the debut of the 2023 Crown.
This is certainly not a new vehicle in the history pages of Toyota. Toyota Crown first debuted in 1955 as the “Toyopet Crown” and has carried on for 15 different Crown generations.
And what an entrance it made in the United States this week.
I was fortunate enough to be in attendance in Austin, TX for the world premiere, and I think I may have fallen in love just a little.
2023 Toyota Crown Review
People interested in the 2023 Toyota Crown will have three familiar trim levels to consider before purchasing. Look for the Toyota Crown XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Each Crown grade will come with its own unique set of features and pricing levels (pricing was not announced at this time).
You may be drawn to the bold Crown exterior styling, modern interior cabin, state-of-the-art technology, or its two different hybrid powertrains.
I have already uploaded a few Toyota Crown review videos on my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel that you may find helpful in your research.

One specific Toyota Crown upgrade package I found practical and of particular interest to me, and it may also be of use to you as well.
The Advanced Technology package.
Toyota Crown Advanced Technology Package
The Advanced Technology package is offered on the 2023 Crown Limited and it may contain some features you will be interested in.
This package upgrades the Crown Limited 19-inch wheels to 21-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. They look great on 2023 Crown, and I have seen it on both Oxygen White and Heavy Metal exterior colors.
Also included in this optional package is bird’s eye view camera and a digital key.
The Toyota digital key is available with a Remote Connect subscription and has some pretty useful functions. Using the digital key, owners can use the Toyota app to unlock all doors and the trunk. You can also start and stop the car with the use of your smartphone as the key itself. Also, you can share this key function with your family and friends digitally.
Buyers can also find digital key as a standard feature on 2023 Toyota Crown Platinum trim level.
