There are people out there who think the world has come to a complete halt. Well, it has not. Like it or not, things will start up again, and that means high school graduates heading off to college.
If you have been giving some serious thought into what you can do for your grad, provide them with the gift of security. Give them a car they can rely on in college. Give them a Toyota Prius.
Reason One: It Was Made By Toyota
Toyota has a very long history of building a quality automobile. That quality also comes standard with reliability and dependability. Toyota built Prius as a car that people could count on in a changing world.
Toyota has a fantastic customer base because they have built vehicles people want to keep for years on end. Toyota is a household name that can be trusted and also a premium brand. Giving your new college student a car they do not have to worry about will help them focus on what is essential, their studies.
Reason Two: Low Cost Of Ownership
Prius is a great car to own. As a seven-time Prius owner myself, I can attest to how great they are. Sure, a used Prius could be somewhat of a gamble depending on who the previous owner was, but I can tell you that more often than not, you will still get the right car.
A new Prius is also a great option too. Excellent fuel economy and low maintenance costs are just a couple of reasons in my book why your college student should have a Prius. Many college students are on a relatively tight budget, and giving them a car that they can save money will allow them to put more time into things that matter, like education.
Keep money in your pocket when going to school and get a Prius.
Reason Three: A Versatile Car For Life-Changing Events
Are you going to school or getting married? Hauling lumber or needing to put in that car seat? Yes, Prius has you covered. With amazing cargo space and ample room for that one last thing, Prius will be there for every adventure as you set out on your new life.
What about when you graduate and move on to a full-time job? Oh commutes, Prius has it. The little eco-car is built to be incredible, and it has proven time and again that it exceeds the mark.
Conclusion
If I were going to do it all again knowing what I know now, I would for sure get a Toyota Prius. Whether it is a Senior year of high school, the first year of college, or graduating either one, Prius makes a great gift. The car is very versatile to handle just about anything that life throws at you, and does it on a budget.
