The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is the most powerful bowtie clad muscle car available right now with 580 horsepower and with the new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat packing at least 600 horsepower – the Camaro will have to wait until the 6th generation to take a shot at the most powerful muscle car title.

After an investigation that we first discussed exactly 374 days ago, General Motors has announced a recall of over 111,000 Chevrolet Corvette coupes and convertibles over a concern that the low beam portion of the headlights could fail to function when they get hot – while also agreeing to fix a large group of Corvettes not included in the actual recall.

The new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is touted by GM as the most track capable Camaro of all time with an LS7 engine packing over 500 horsepower and thanks to the folks at Redline Motorsports – we have our first look at this monster muscle car in action on the dyno.

The Ford Mustang turns 50 years old later this week and today General Motors posted an image of the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 with a set of candles and a friendly message wishing its bitter rival a happy 50th birthday.

The right to own 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe #1 was auctioned off this past weekend at the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in Palm Beach, Florida and as expected, NASCAR owner and diehard Chevrolet performance fan Rick Hendrick claimed the first Z06 with a show stopping bid of $1,000,000.

This past weekend, an all black Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 rolled across the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in Palm Beach Florida, serving as a stand in as bidders sought to win the right to own the very first 2015 Camaro Z/28 – with the winning bid raising an awesome $500,000 for charity.

When the 2014 New York International Auto Show opens later this week, the new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible will meet the world and when it does, it will mark the first time that General Motors has offered one of their modern Super-Vettes in convertible form – adding yet another item to the list of reasons why the C7 Corvette is so freakin’ awesome.
