The 2013 SRT Viper will make its grand debut on April 4th at the opening day of the 2012 New York Auto Show and for those Dodge, Mopar, Chrysler and SRT enthusiasts who cannot make it to the Big Apple for the show but still want to see the all-new American supercar meet the world, the DriveSRT Facebook page will have live streaming video of the new Viper debut.

Last week, we brought you the news that Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne had declined salary or bonuses for his work at Chrysler through 2011 but fans of the sweater-wearing auto genius shouldn’t worry too much about the Chief being able to pay his bills as it was announced that Marchionne mad around $19 million for his work at Fiat last year.

Two weeks ago, a grainy picture of what was supposedly the 2013 SRT Viper in Hot Wheels form hit the internet with some skepticism over whether or not that was really the next Chrysler supercar and now, images have surfaced on the internet of the actual Hot Wheels toy car – with what appears to be the 2013 SRT Viper in 1:64th scale.

The internet is alive this morning with discussions over the grainy image shown on the right which many believe to be the first look at the 2013 SRT Viper courtesy of a Hot Wheels promotional image promoting upcoming toys... but is this the new SRT Viper or is this a case of suggestive reasoning leading people to get over-excited about what could just be a toy designer’s image of a cool new sports car?

If you haven't heard, President Barack Obama's 2005 Chrysler 300C went up for sale on an eBay auction. When the auction closed, surprisingly the car did not sell. You might think there are lots of people who would be interested in car Obama had driven. However, I think there are many reasons why the car could not find a buyer.
