This morning, the Chrysler Group unveiled the second group of 2013 Dodge Dart teasers, this time focusing on the center stack and gauge cluster of the new C segment sedan but around 6pm eastern standard time, Dodge posted another interior shot of the 2013 Dart on their official Facebook page - offering us a closer look at the whole dash layout.

Detroit, MI - The stream of teasers from the Chrysler Group showing their new 2013 Dodge Dart continued this morning as the automaker offered up the first official look at the interior of the new C-segment sedan – giving a glimpse into the gauge cluster and infotainment area of the 2013 Dart.

Yesterday, the Chrysler Group offered up the first official information on the new 2013 Dodge Dart including a couple tightly cropped teaser images and a brief mention of the engines available at launch but while speaking yesterday with Reuters, Chrysler/Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne declared that the new Dodge Dart will be the first Chrysler Group vehicle to offer 40 miles per gallon.

We have known for some time now that the Chrysler Group would use the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit to unveil a new compact sedan based on Alfa Romeo architecture but this morning, the folks under the Pentastar offered up a handful of information on this new model – officially named the 2013 Dodge Dart.

While the details around the whole matter are scarce, the Chrysler Group has announced that Laura Soave, head of the North American branch of the Fiat brand, has left the company to “pursue other interests” and with her departure long-time Chrysler Group team member Tim Kuniskis will step in to fill that role.

The Chrysler Group as a whole has had a fairly quiet 2011 LA Auto Show but among the debuts is the new Dodge Challenger Yellow Jacket – a limited edition muscle car in the new Stinger Yellow exterior colored applied to the high performance SRT8 package.

One of the new components in Chrysler’s fuel saving technologies being applied throughout their product lineup was the addition of a dual clutch transmission for the 2012 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger sedans but reports indicate that those new high tech transmissions will not be offered on 2012 model year vehicles.

Earlier today we brought you the news that the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket will make its debut at the 2011 LA Auto Show and now we know that the 4-door muscle sedan will also get a bright yellow special edition package debut in LA with the introduction of the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee.
