Ford and other major manufacturers continue to feel the shortage of semiconductors as they build vehicles like the F-150 without key modules so that the assembly lines can remain active. Ford promises that as soon as the new modules are available and checked that the vehicles will be shipped to dealers. GM, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda are also feeling the same pain. The Japanese makers are also feeling the major fire at a chip plant in Japan.
