Tesla Gigi Texas may need 41,000 truckloads of fill dirt to level the ground

Here is a new drone video from Tesla Giga Texas explaining how much dirt fill Tesla needs to level the ground of its Austin Gigafactory and to prepare it for building the foundation.

Torque News friend Joe Tegtmeyer reports.

This video has some educational information about fill dirt, the trucks being used and recent projects that Ranger Excavation has done in addition to doing Giga Texas now. It will give some scope of the effort and estimate how much fill dirt will be needed at Giga Texas just to level out the Phase I areas we have been watching get cleared these past few weeks.

Joe says the weather generally has been good. Beautiful day for flying his drone over Tesla Giga Texas and to check in on what’s new.
