The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible comes in four trimlines, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS. The 1LT starts us off at $29,150 which includes a 312hp V6 and 18” painted aluminum wheels, but if you want to add 19” wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Boston Acoustics sound system and a few other items you can step up to the 2LT for $32,650. Those who want more power can opt for the 2011 Camaro 2SS, which includes the 426hp LS3 V8, 20” wheels, Brembo brakes and SS-specific front and rear fascias for $36,650. If you want your new Camaro Convertible all loaded up with all the tech goodies, the top of the line Camaro Convertible 2SS starts at $39,650.
I went through the configurator and built my dream 2011 Camaro Convertible which started with a 1SS (with a manual transmission, of course), adding 21” black wheels ($4,865), Red Jewel Tintcoat paint ($325), the black stripe package ($470), a tonneau cover ($200) and a Hurst short-throw shifter ($380) to come to the final price of $43,915.
The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible will make its Motor City debut next Monday at the opening day of the 2011 Detroit Auto Show and TorqueNews.com will be there, bringing you every inch of the massive show.
Thanks to "Mr. Purr" for the heads up!

What a cool car! It's on my dream list. I have a friend who collects Camaros and has over 15. He has ran out of room in his garages and has to store some of them in enclosed trailers. I hope to someday own a Camaro. Maybe my friend will give me one! :)
