The newest 2014 Chevrolet Corvette trailer which is officially #4 is titled “CREATION” and this teaser video is truly a teaser – offering only shots of the C7 Corvette during the manufacturing process on the line in Bowling Green Kentucky. This video technically offers the least in terms of teaser shots of the 2014 Corvette but for those hardcore GM enthusiasts who are on the edge of their seats – waiting for the official unveiling of the 2014 Corvette this coming Sunday – this new video is just one more piece of the puzzle that has been tiding us all over for months now.
Those who love the look of a sports car strictly for the exterior design will likely be bored by 2014 Corvette teaser #4 but for those of you who love to see what goes into making a sports car, this is a video that you will enjoy (as teasers go). As the video progresses, we see the greenhouse of the C7 Corvette about 7 seconds in, the base of the lightweight unibody chassis around 9 seconds and floor pan shots on and off up to the 15 second point. After the 30 second mark there are some shots of the body of the 2014 Corvette including what looks to be the inside of the rear quarter panel, immediately behind the door along with some other shots that are hard to identify. Finally, around the 34-35 second mark we get a head on shot of the C7 Corvette with the front end off while the undercarriage is connected to the greenhouse area. We get a decent shot of the roofline and the windshield at this point but the black and white footage makes it hard to make much out.
The 4th 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 teaser ends with the bold text stating that “Precision Never Rests” followed by the red glowing date of 1.13.13 – reminding us all that the next generation of the famed Chevrolet Corvette will debut this Sunday night at a private event in Detroit.
There have been plenty of images leaked on the internet showing many angles of what most people to believe to be the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette including images of a service manual or owners manual. Those images show us a front end that is sharp yet somewhat predictable but the rear end shots reveal a Corvette with square taillights – which comes as a surprise considering that every Corvette ever built has come with round tail lights.
