The 2013 Cadillac XTS flagship luxury sedan in the “Standard” trimline with front wheel drive comes with a starting price of $44,990 (includes a $920 destination fee). This includes the 3.6L V6 that sends 304 horsepower and 264lb-ft of torque through the 6-speed automatic transmission to the 19” aluminum front wheels. Like the Cadillac V-Series models, the Corvette ZR1 and the Camaro ZL1, the Cadillac XTS comes with the Magnetic Ride Control system which offers a mix of comfort and sport handling while Brembo brakes handling the stopping.
This engine, transmission and suspension package are standard across the entire 2013 XTS lineup. Inside, the XTS Standard includes the Cadillac CUE entertainment system mated to a Bose 8-speaker sound system while premium leather seats provide comfort for front and rear riders.
The 2013 Cadillac XTS Standard is available in Radiant Silver Metallic, Black Raven, Graphite Metallic, Crystal Red Tintcoat, and White Diamond Tricoat with the red and diamond colors costing an extra $995. Inside, the XTS Standard comes with either Jet Black or Shale/Cocoa leather all around. The XTS is so loaded up in “base” form that there are very few options – event for the Standard trimline. Only a $75 engine block heater and $350 compact spare tire are available as options for the XTS Standard.
The next trimline for the 2013 Cadillac XTS is the Luxury trim, which adds unique 19” wheels, stainless steel dual exhaust, daytime running lights, added seat adjustments, Park Assist and a rear backup camera. The front wheel drive Cadillac XTS Luxury carries a starting price of $49,610. The Luxury trimline is the first to offer all wheel drive, which brings the price to $51,835.
The 2013 Cadillac XTS Luxury is offered in the same Radiant Silver Metallic, Black Raven, Graphite Metallic, Crystal Red Tintcoat, and White Diamond Tricoat options as the Standard with the same $995 upcharge but the Luxury trimline gets too additional choices inside. On top of the Jet Black and Shale/Cocoa options for the Standard, the XTS Luxury also offers Medium Titanium/Jet Black and Caramel/Jet Black for no addition charge. The XTS Luxury has a few more options with buyers being able to add an upgraded version of the CUE system for $795 along with a $1,450 power sunroof in addition to the spare tire and engine block heater.
Stepping up to the 2013 Cadillac XTS Premium will add the upgraded CUE system with navigation (optional on the XTS Luxury), a 14-speaker Bose system, a customizable 12.3” gauge cluster and automatic three zone climate control. The front wheel drive XTS Premium carries a price of $54,505 while the all wheel drive variant starts at $56,730. The XTS Premium offers the same five exterior paint choices as the XTS Luxury and Standard along with the same four interior options from the XTS Luxury. The only optional items available for the XTS Premium are the engine block heater, the sunroof and the spare tire.
Last and most certainly not least is the 2013 Cadillac XTS Platinum, which carries a price of $59,080 when equipped with front wheel drive and $61,305 with all wheel drive. This package comes with all of the features of the previous trimlines but adds unique 20”aluminum wheels with chrome inserts, a standard UltraView power sunroof (optional on the Luxury and Premium), a power rear window shade and manual rear side window shades.
The XTS Platinum comes with the same five exterior options as the rest of the lineup with the red and white diamond still costing $995 more but the high end trimline comes with two unique interior options. First, a Jet Black/Light Wheat trim takes care of those who are after a dark look while Very Light Platinum/Dark Urban/Cocoa should satiate those who want a bright, light interior. The XTS Platinum comes with pretty much everything standard shy of the engine block heater and the compact spare, so there are currently no other options.
Fully loaded up with the pricier metallic red paint, the 2013 Cadillac XTS Platinum carries a price of $60,500 for front wheel drive and $62,725 for all wheel drive.
