Win a new car at the 2011 Indianapolis Auto Show

That’s right - while you are attending the 2011 Indianapolis Auto Show, you have your chance to win a brand new 2011 Toyota RAV4. Stop by the Indianapolis Star Pavilion, where you will find computer kiosks where you can sign up for your chance to win a new sport ute courtesy of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. and the Central Indiana Toyota Dealers Association. Show-goers can sign up at the 2011 Indy Auto Show between now and 5pm on Saturday, January 1st and the winner will be randomly drawn around 5:05pm on that Saturday – the final day of the 2011 show. The show runs from 11am to 9pm tonight until the 30th and on the 31st and January 1st, the show closes at 6pm.

The information on the 2011 Indy Auto Show website doesn’t state what trimline or options are included in the 2011 Toyota RAV4 being given away but they do state that the vehicle has an estimated value of $24,454. Based on the Toyota website, $24,454 would put you in a 2011 RAV4 with a 4-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive; as well as the Base Extra Value Package and a set of RAV4 branded floormats. The “Base Extra Value Package” adds 17” wheels, daytime running lights, a roof rack and a rear cargo area privacy cover, and when added to the standard 4WD RAV4 with floormats, you get a price of $24,454…but that is just a guess based on the list prices on Toyota’s website.

This year brings us the 97th annual Indianapolis Auto Show, with over 450 cars on the show floor drawing in over 200,000 spectators. Admission is just $7 for adults and it is free for kids under 12. If you aren’t looking for a new vehicle and you are in the Indy area, $7 is a bargain to check out the newest cars, truck and SUVs from around the industry.
