The first week of November marks the opening of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. One of the largest automotive shows in the country, SEMA is known for its special projects unveils, cutting-edge gadgetry, and unusual concepts. No matter what is being shown at SEMA, though, it's just not a show without a GT-R.
Nissan is bringing the 2016 GT-R NISMO with a special N-Attack Package which utilizes specialized, dedicated parts that were developed through the Time Attack Project on the Nurburgring track in Germany. The fastest-ever lap time for a volume production vehicle was set by the Nissan GT-R NISMO two years ago and continues to bring top times today.
The specially optioned 2016 GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package was developed by Nissan Motorsports International and will be officially installed for U.S. buyers by Steve Millen Sportsparts (STILLEN) under the NISMO umbrella. STILLEN will be opted as the official installer and sales agent for the special N-Attack Package upgrades. Many may recall that Millen himself was a long-time NISMO race driver known for his tricolor 300ZX.
The NISMO N-Attack Package was developed to achieve optimal speed and includes components such as aerodynamics necessary for superior down-force, suspension that can handle such a punishing road surface full of undulations and turbulent fluctuations, and full bucket seats essential to maintain the optimal driving position even under powerful g-force. Japanese sales will be through the NISMO Omori Factory.
The 2016 Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package vehicle will be showcased in the Nissan booth in the Upper South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
