A series of short videos, the first of which was released after Thanksgiving, documents the design, testing, and engineering behind the next-generation Nissan Titan pickup truck. The 2016 Titan and Titan Diesel will debut at the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) this January.
"The 'Truckumentary' is not meant to be the all-encompassing last word on Titan," said Rich Miller, Nissan's Director of Product Planning for trucks and SUVs. "Rather it's the continuing story of the vehicle's evolution, accompanied by a close look at the American-based team that is bringing this all-new truck to market."
The video below is the teaser introduction to the series, which will debut in mid-December. Torque News, of course, will have that for you as soon as it's released. More than a dozen videos are planned for the next year, releasing even after the truck is unveiled and leading up to its hitting showrooms next fall.
The video is accompanied by a short note from Miller, who lead the development of the new-generation Titan. "To celebrate this new truck, we want to take you behind the scenes to witness some of the milestones of Titan's development, meet the team that works on the vehicle and even get a glimpse of Nissan's larger truck heritage which goes back more than 55 years in the U.S."
