Borla has introduced a Cat-Back 2.5” diameter exhaust system specifically engineered for use with the all-new Toyota Tacoma V6 with an automatic transmission. It is compatible with either 2WD or 4WD. The new exhaust offers a smooth, deep not according to Borla and is guaranteed not to drone.
Borla says that the new stainless steel system uses its S-Type muffler. Which it says features patented straight-through, multi-core technology. Borla says that the new system “…delivers enhanced performance with a throaty, aggressive sound under acceleration at a reduced volume level.”
Importantly, the system was designed so that your neighbors won’t hate you (at least for having an annoying exhaust).
The Borla system comes complete with a 4” round tailpipe, which features a rolled, angle-cut tip. The exhaust exits from the side of the truck, behind the passenger-side rear wheel
Borla didn’t offer any dyno comparison for the exhaust but claims it will “unleash hidden horsepower.”
The Specs provided include:
