Mazda Capital Services and Chase supported and participated in the Sunshine Grand Prix, professional and amateur cycling races, which was run this past March 19th 26th in Tampa. During the races, Mazda, in cooperation with MNAO donated $55,300 to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital through their Mazda Drive for Good partnership. The total amount donated topped $53,000.
The starting line of the Men’s Professional Cycling race served as the backdrop for the check presentation. Dave Fogel, General Manager of Tyrone Square Mazda, and Jenifer Marzec of, Assistant Vice President & Dealer Relationship Manager of Chase, presented the check to Kimberly Guy, President of St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. Attendees of the event learned about Mazda’s Drive for Good partnership while witnessing some of the best professional cyclists in the country race at high speeds.
Mazda’s Drive for Good will donate $5,354,550 to charities this year, an 8.4 percent increase over 2015. Mazda employees and dealers across the nation also will contribute over 70,000 service hours in 2016. Recipients of Mazda’s Driver for Good contributions include St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Red Cross, and the American Heart Association.
