Kelly Blue Book also says the 2022 Outback midsize SUV is their top pick in the 5-Year Cost to Own Awards. KBB predicted the 2022 Outback to have a 5-year cost-to-own of $43,973 (including the purchase price), which is $6,730 less than the Two-Row SUV segment average.
