Why 2015 Mercedes GLA-Class will be an attractive entry into U.S. market

The new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class is getting more recognition from Germany this week. It’s been voted by the readers of specialist magazine AUTO BILD, as the most beautiful SUV in Germany. Mercedes-Benz swept the award with winning the most beautiful cars awards in no less than five out of six categories.

In addition to the all-new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, the C-Class, S-Class Coupe, and also the Mercedes-AMG Vision Gran Turismo won awards. And the Mercedes-Benz C-Class picked up top honors in the rankings for the AUTO BILD Design Award 2014 as the overall winner.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class luxury compact secured victory in the category for SUVs, vans and all-wheel drive vehicles. The AUTO BILD Design Award 2014 was given to GLA because of its “progressive design, and it offers a convincing new interpretation of the compact SUV segment.” Mercedes is attracting a new buyer to the brand who is younger and it fits perfectly into their active lifestyles.

It also received the AUTO BILD award for its “youthful flowing dynamic lines and exuding complete excitement, the newcomer's typical Mercedes genes allow it to offer a glimpse of the future for this category of vehicle as a means of escaping the humdrum of everyday life.”

GLA-Class also recently won another award from Auto Bild Allrad. The readers of Auto Bild Allrad have given the GLA-Class, a first place votes in the reader's poll conducted by the all-wheel-drive magazine. It had to do with the automakers new 4MATIC all-wheel-drive. The GLA took first place in the category "ATVs and SUVs from 25,000 to 40,000 euros".

Look for the all-new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class to be a big hit with a new generation of consumers around the globe who will use the luxury compact SUV for recreation. It’s one of the most beautiful cars in Europe and will likely be an attractive entry in the U.S. compact luxury SUV market here in the U.S.
