Why the new BMW M3 received the red carpet treatment in Vienna

The BMW M3 is the star of the new Mission Impossible movie with Tom Cruise called “Rogue Nation.” The latest film in the legendary action series from Paramount Pictures and Skydance, includes some exciting scenes with the M3 being chased by the terrorists in the movie.

To celebrate the launch of the new MI movie, the new BMW M3 and the new BMW 7 Series were featured on the red carpet alongside stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson and director Christopher McQuarrie at the Vienna State Opera.

BMW began the partnership with Paramount Pictures in “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” in 2011 and are using their vehicles and technology for the second time. “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” will arrive at theaters in the U.S., July 31.  

The 2015 BMW M3 is driven hard by Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) to help the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) team beat the bad guys in the new movie. In the movie trailer below, the new M3 gets driven hard and gets crunched hard. Another BMW, the Motorrad S 1000 RR then takes over to defeat the enemy.
