The Boring Company Shows Off Tesla Cybertruck Driving in its Tunnels While Giga Texas Gets TBC Tunnel Sections to Deliver Parts Directly to the Production Line

The Boring Company construction equipment and pre-built tunnel sections have been spotted at Giga Texas which will be used to deliver parts to the production line from underneath. This is at the same time a Cybertruck was spotted driving in a TBC tunnel.

Elon Musk is currently the brains behind 6 independent companies that he directly runs or plays a major role in. These companies are Tesla, SpaceX, X (Twitter), The Boring Company, Neuralink, and X.Ai.

These six companies are in addition to the other corporations he founded and either sold or integrated into his other companies which include Paypay, Solar City, and Zip2.

Overall, Elon Musk has started 9 different companies during his illustrious career. All except the first one have grown to over a billion-dollar valuation and the other two have grown to over 100 billion-dollar valuation.

All this is to say, there is no shortage of Elon Musk companies out in the world. With all the different industries that the serial entrepreneur has his hands in, it’s always exciting to see a collaboration between the companies he runs.

And a recent interesting collaboration is happening between Tesla and The Boring Company (TBC), which is Musk’s tunnel-digging startup.

A recent picture posted by the Boring Company’s official X page shows the Cybertruck getting driven around the company's Vagas Loop. Seeing the future of transportation inside the future of roads is certainly exciting.

However, what’s even more important is that, given the Cybertruck is the largest vehicle that Tesla produces, it wasn’t exactly clear if the all-electric truck would be able to fit inside the relatively tight The Boring Company tunnels.

This picture shows that in our tunnel-filled future where several layers of tunnels effortlessly transport countless vehicles, you will be able to use the Cybertruck to participate in that reality.

On its own, this is exciting, however, at Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory, there is another potentially more significant collaboration going on between the tunneling startup and the EV maker.

A few weeks ago, we reported that The Boring Company equipment had been spotted at Giga Texas. Elon Musk has previously said that at Giga Texas, Tesla will use tunnels to deliver vehicle parts directly to the specific segment of the production line from underneath.

Musk made these comments in 2022 however, now, the plan to dig tunnels underneath Giga Texas appears to be starting in earnest. As I have already mentioned, a few weeks ago, we saw some TBC equipment at Giga Texas.

And now, thanks to a new drone Flyover of Giga Texas by Joe Tegtmeyer, we can see several pieces of construction equipment with The Boring Company logo stored at Giga Texas.

Not only that, but we can also see several pre-built tunnel sections starting to pile up at the Texas factory. Given Elon Musk's previous statement and the added TBC equipment spotted at the plant, this no longer leaves any doubt that TBC is close to digging tunnels underneath Giga Texas.

Elon Musk says long-term Tesla’s competitive advantage will be manufacturing capability and with all the manufacturing advancements that the company’s Gigafactories are delivering, Musk’s statement is proving to be true.

Currently, The Boring Company is only starting to set up shop at Giga Texas, however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted once tunnel digging starts in earnest. Until then, make sure to visit our site torquenews.com/Tesla regularly for the latest updates.

So what do you think? Excited to see the Cybertruck fits inside The Boring Company tunnels? Also, do you think it’s necessary to build tunnels underneath Giga Texas to deliver components directly to the production site? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

I can't find anywhere where Elon Musk said that a tunnel would be used for delivering vehicle parts. Please provide a source for that.

I believe previous Tegtmeyer vids have indicated that a Boring Co tunnel would likely run from the Gigafactory periphery, under I-35, and surface near the new end-of-line facility on the other side of the interstate. So a tunnel's purpose is to optimize the exit stream of production vehicles, not transport parts.
