Elon Musk Says He’ll Live Stream 1st Tesla FSD V12 Drive Next Week Without Mark Zuckerberg Fight

Currently, Elon Musk, in addition to his role as Tesla CEO, also directly runs or, is the founder and active member of, 5 additional companies. These companies are SpaceX, The Boring Company, Neuralink, X Corp (Twitter), and X.ai.

In his role as X (Twitter) CEO, Musk has gotten into an altercation of sorts with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. The dispute between the two tech titans started after Meta (Facebook) decided to build a direct Twitter competitor app called Threads that Musk has accused of directly reaping off X.

To settle their dispute, the two men have agreed to face off in a televised mixed martial arts competition where the proceeds of the fight will go to charity.

Currently, there are a lot of controversies surrounding the fight with Musk and Zuckerberg both accusing the other of stalling or trying to back out of the fight.

The fight has also garnered a lot of opposition from shareholders of both companies who are worried that any accidents that happen during the fight will hurt their investments.

No matter the case, this Monday, Elon Musk announced that later that night he’ll be asking his Tesla to take him to Zuckerberg’s house using the latest FSD software and that the two can have their fight at Zuckerberg’s house. Musk also added that he’ll live stream the whole drive plus the fight on X.

Monday night has come and gone without the fight taking place. Interest in the fight also seems to be slowly fading away as cooler heads are starting to prevail, however, Tesla fans appear to still be interested in the FSD drive live stream part of the Zuckerberg fight.

And one such X user who goes by the handle Teslaconomics put this same question forward to Musk writing “Elon, forget about the house fight for a sec, when are you live streaming FSD Beta V12 on 𝕏?” Musk in response simply answered saying “Next week”.

If you happen to be unfamiliar, FSD v12 is Tesla’s next-generation FSD software that is yet to be released to the public. Currently, it has become commonplace to witness zero intervention FSD Beta v11 drives in complex driving situations. This has been certainly exhilarating, however, to add to the excitement, in the past few weeks, Elon Musk has revealed that FSD Beta will no longer be in “beta” after the release of v12.

Tesla added “beta” to the FSD software’s name to emphasize the fact that the software is still in a testing phase and that owners should not trust it. However, with FSD v12 Tesla plans to remove the “beta” moniker from the FSD software which suggests that the company believes the software is good enough for people to at least partially trust it.

This would not necessarily mean that after FSD Beta v12, people will no longer need to monitor the software and can, for example, sleep in their car while they get chaffered by the FSD software or do their work during their commute.

This will require true level 5 autonomy. And Musk has previously stated that in order to reach level 5 autonomy, Tesla needs to show that the FSD software is an order of magnitude safer than a human driver or in other words 10 times less likely to get into an accident than an average human driver.

Having said that, even though FSD v12 might not be a level 5 autonomous software it is still nonetheless exciting to see FSD v12 become the first iteration of FSD software that Tesla doesn’t consider to be a beta program.
