Tesla Cybertruck Owners Call For a Counter-Protest to Show Support for Elon Musk; Say “200 Cybertrucks Surrounding The Anti-Tesla Protestors Will Show Them Who the Majority Is”

Cybertruck owners across the US are banding together to launch a pro-Elon Musk counter-protest at Tesla service centers. They say showing up with 200 Cybertrucks will prove they are the majority.

Donald Moreland is a Cybertruck owner from Whitney, Texas, and says he wants to organize a counter-protest in support of Elon Musk.

This is in response to the ongoing protests across Tesla service centers in the country, which aim to voice their opposition to Elon Musk.

However, Donald says Tesla Cybertruck owners should band together, attend the anti-Elon Musk protests, and show the protesters who the majority is.

Donald specifically says a couple of hundred Cybertrucks showing up at the anti-Elon Musk protest sites could be a good thing.

The Texas Cybertruck owner shared his call for action on the Cybertruck Owners Only group on Facebook.

Here is what he wrote...

“Where's the thread coordinating a show of support for Elon Musk?

These protestors in front of Tesla Service Centers need to see what a majority looks like...A couple of hundred Cybertrucks surrounding them might do it.”

This is certainly an interesting perspective, and, looking at the comments, several Cybertruck owners say they’re happy to join the counter-protest.

A fellow Cybertruck owner, Ricardo Agustín Pérez Rivera writes…

“Southern California here. I’m down for a Cybertruck caravan with some Trump signs.”

Another Cybertruck owner, Pratik P, writes…

“Where are these protests even happening? I'd love to show them the new Cybertruck horn.”

Another Cybertruck owner, Ray Colaiacovo, says...

“I’m in, but I’m in Florida.”

A fellow Cybertruck owner, Chris CQ, writes…

“I am a Cubertruck owner, a combat veteran, and a U.S. taxpayer who agrees with Elon Musk’s political support for our current president.

While I respect your right to peaceful protest, I do not condone actions that involve harassing other Tesla owners, as they are not polite.

We live in a free country, but it's important to remember that our rights apply to everyone.”

These are some of the individuals looking to band together to organize a counter-protest. However, some Cybertruck owners say they don’t need the backing of 200 Cybertrucks to show up at the anti-Tesla protests and let their presence be felt.

Tony Jones, a Cybertruck owner from Georgia, writes…

“I’ve seen them here in Atlanta. Usually, it’s only a few. They are right to do so as they won’t keep me from buying Tesla products or doing service for Tesla.

I’d suggest you start by rolling by on your own and counter-protesting. That new horn and a big Cybertruck rolling by will tell them who you support!

I don’t need “a couple hundred” of anything to back me up to state my opinion or anti-opinion. Be the spark to start a fire.”

Again, this is an interesting perspective; however, some Cybertruck owners disagree and say they will not join the counter-protest because they are not happy with Elon Musk’s behavior.

A Cybertruck Owner, Bill Rowen writes…

“I am a Cybertruck owner who disagrees with Elon Musk’s political behavior. I believe in peaceful protest.”

Another Cybertruck Owner seconds Bill’s sentiment writing…

“100%! I disagree with Elon Musk’s behavior, and I won’t be counter-protesting since I feel I would not be welcome because I own a Cybertruck.

However, I will make my disagreement known, and I won’t buy any more vehicles from Tesla unless something changes. Sadly, I doubt anything will.”

Another Cybertruck owner, Ashley Janell, also says the counter protests are a bad idea and writes…

“People are allowed to protest. It's the same as you are allowed to protest whatever brand you don’t like for whatever reason you want.

I’d say leave them alone to peacefully protest.

Obviously, if someone tries to vandalize your vehicle, that’s a different story.

But peaceful protests should be left alone; some of them may also be Tesla owners who don’t agree with Elon’s behavior, and it’s their right to protest it.”

Overall, Cybertruck owners appear divided regarding Elon Musk. However, please let me know what you think in the comments. Share your ideas by clicking the “Add new comment” button below. Also, visit our site, torquenews.com/Tesla, regularly for the latest updates.

In the meantime, Tesla just made its next move and started the production of the New Model Y at its Giga Berling factory, which you can see on the Torque News YouTube channel.
