MKBHD Reviews the New Model 3
"Yo, I am impressed. I am very impressed with this car right here."
These were the words from MKBHD as he began his review of the new Tesla Model 3 Highland.
"There are a lot of parts of this car that make it a worthy flagship for Tesla," he also says.

Quality Is Higher
The new Model 3 has different doors. There is a notch that latches to the bottom of the door, sealing the door a lot better than the old Model 3.
When in the car, it's incredibly quiet. In general, this feels like any other Model 3 when you are inside. However, when you look around, there is premium features and luxury.
There is a new steering wheel. There may be complaints that there are no more stalks. Changing gears can be done in two ways - hitting the brake and using the center screen, or options at the top middle of the car you can press.
You can use wipers, voice dictation, autopilot, and autopilot car distance with buttons on the right side of the steering wheel.
Blinkers, high beams, and media/volume are buttons on the left. The horn is a press in the center of the steering wheel.

There are improved materials and build quality. There are air vents, but there is a fabric on the top of the air vents that is unique. It's a nice plain open space.
When driving, you get LED lighting, which is a light strip that goes all the way around the front and side of the front of the car. You can change the color of these lights using the center screen.
The main center console has a faster computer that is way more responsive. All software is just as fast as even and even faster than he remembers.
There is a new high fidelity park assist that gives you a heat map of things around you. You can see parking lines around you and as you get close to something, it turns red. This helps with parking and that is all improved.
There are better seats in the front that are heated and ventilated.
In the back seat, you get about the same amount of space as before. The floor is flat through the middle. You have a nice flush touch screen in the back that can control air flow and HVAC, as well as having media options.
The back seat experience is way better in this new Model 3. It also has LED lighting and has a glass roof overhead.
Driver Seat Upgrades
The Model 3 has always been an easy and simple car to drive, according to MKBHD. This might be the easiest one to calibrate to with one pedal driving and the Supercharger network.
Two things, acoustics are much quieter, and the suspension is softer - notably softer. This car is way more comfortable to drive and has a much tighter steering radius.
There is a much improved speaker system. Driving around in the quiet cabin listening to the better speakers is way better than previously.
You have the same center console setup, the same frunk and rear trunk space you are used to.
The camera quality is much better. You can actually see things much better.
"This is a good car, and it's a mini Model S," says MKBHD.
"This is due to the feature set, adding the rear screen, and the build quality refinement - quieter ride, better suspension, etc.," according to his response on X to a question about why he thinks it's a mini Model S.
Should you get this car? If you are considering the performance version, you will have to wait. Otherwise, for street driving, this car is great and quick. 0 to 60 mph time for this long range version is 4.2 seconds and range is around 343 miles.
