Future Demand of Tesla Vehicles
When one looks at Tesla overall as a company, it's clear that Tesla is trying to do as much as possible across as few a number of models as possible.
The reason for this is that it is simpler to manage a few vehicle models. It reduces complexity in manufacturing and knowledge needed to produce the vehicle.
Most legacy auto companies have numerous vehicles models. The only advantage to this is that it creates more variety. For those who don't want a vehicle that looks like another one, yes, this is an advantage.
However, from a practical standpoint and bringing down costs, having fewer models is better. Tesla has decided to take that approach, and it appears to be working as the Model Y and Model 3 are the top two sellers in China for the last month.
I see Tesla continuing to hold the top spots in sales as time goes on and especially, once autonomy is solved.
What do you think of Tesla taking the top two EV sales spots in China for April 2023? Will this trend continue?
