Take for example the Sonata Sport. This version of the Sonata adds a number of racy details to the exterior such as a distinct front fascia, side skirts, seventeen-inch alloy wheels done in a turbine pattern, rear spoiler, and chrome exhaust tips. This can be all yours for a price of $23,400. But Hyundai believed they could add more value to the Sport and for the 2016 model, you can option what the automaker calls the Value Edition package.

The Value Edition package adds a number of convenience and comfort features to the Sonata Sport without breaking the bank. Here is what comes in the package.

  • Standard conventional sunroof and proximity key with push-button start
  • Hands-free Smart Trunk
  • Sport seats with leather bolsters and cloth inserts
  • Heated front seats
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
  • Chrome exterior door handles with welcome light

What about the price? Hyundai says the Value Edition package only adds $950 to the price of the Sonata Sport.

“We had an overwhelming positive market reaction to the 2016 Elantra Value Edition trim when it launched earlier this year,” said Scott Margason, director, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. “This new Sonata Sport Value Edition package will provide customers a compelling value proposition by offering a number of high-demand comfort and convenience features at a significant savings.”

The package is now available to be ordered for the Sonata Sport.
