Ford Just Won a Truckload Full of Awards for Having the Best Value for its F-Series

The truck market is the most hotly- contested right now. Ford, Chevrolet and Ram are all battling it out for the important sales crown, so value is a huge asset.

Ford and GM typically battle it out for truck supremacy every year. The Ford F-Series sells the most trucks if you count all the models, but Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 often sell more light duty trucks when their sales numbers are added together. One of the key deciding factors for most new truck buyers is value, “Are they getting the best bang for their buck?” Vincentric is out with its annual awards and Ford won the overall ‘Best Value in America’ brand award for trucks.  Several Ford trucks were singled out for other awards as well.

“Ford trucks have been part of the daily lives of hard-working Americans for generations,” said Steven Lee, Ford Pro Senior Brand Manager. “This award from Vincentric reaffirms what our customers have always known: whether it’s the versatility of a Maverick Hybrid for everyday tasks or the power of an F-350 Super Duty for heavy-duty towing, they’re getting the exceptional value and dependability they need.”

Vincentric measures vehicle cost of ownership using eight factors: depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost and repairs.

Some of Ford’s Stand Out Winners

Vincentric chose the 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid as its Best Value in America winner in the Small/Mid-Size Pickup segment. This is the second time that the Maverick has driven home with the award. Vincentric found that the Maverick’s ownership costs came in 18.7% below what was expected. The little Maverick Hybrid had the lowest fuel costs in its class. Overall, the Maverick had the lowest operating costs. Maverick beat out eight competitors, with the lowest cost of ownership among the small and mid-size trucks.

The 2025 Ford F-250 takes home the award for the Best Value in America in the Full-Size 3/4-Ton Pickup segment. Vincentric found that the F-250’s ownership costs came in 5.9% below expected. The F-250 had the lowest maintenance costs for a truck that size and also the lowest overall operating costs. The F-250 bested three competitors and delivered the lowest cost of ownership in the 3/4-ton pickup segment. This is the seventh time that the F-250 has received the Vincentric Best Value award, its fourth consecutive win.

The 2025 Ford F-350 received the Best Value in America award for the Full-Size 1-Ton Pickup segment. This is the third consecutive win for the F-350 and its tenth win overall. The F-350 came in 4.2% below expected ownership costs. It had the lowest maintenance costs in its class, as well as the lowest operating costs in the 1-ton segment. Overall, the F-350 topped three other trucks and had the lowest cost of ownership in the segment.

How Awards Help Sales

Every person should consider value when weighing which vehicle is better for their family or business. Businesses and families have to keep the bottom line in mind. Maintenance costs can add up and it is important to make sure that you can afford the initial costs and the costs to maintain and keep it.

Ford has been number one in commercial vehicle sales for 39 consecutive years, and the F-Series has been America’s best-selling truck for 48 consecutive years. Whether the buyer is looking for a smaller truck that is easy to park, or a 1-ton truck that can tow huge trailers, Ford has a variety of available vehicles. It is important for a buyer to consider not just the sticker price, but how much it will cost to keep the trucks running over the long run. That is where value comes in.
