Shocking New Colors Added to 2022 Toyota Tacoma Lineup

As we begin learning more details about what is in store for our favorite 2022 Toyota models, there is reason to get more and more excited. By the day it seems lately.

Soon we will know all essential 2022 Tundra specifications, we will uncover new features for 2022 4Runner, and we will have a new Corolla Cross.

Plus, we have the scoop on 2022 Tacoma changes.

2022 Toyota Tacoma News

Toyota Tacoma is looking at updates, changes and minor tweaks as we look at the 2022 model year.

This is not a year for a refresh, and it certainly is not the year for a complete redesign.

Tacoma fans may be happy to learn Toyota is adding two colors to its 2022 palette.

First, 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro will feature Electric Lime Metallic as its unique color. This will join Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Midnight Black Metallic as options for customers looking at Tacoma TRD Pro.

Next, Blue Crush Metallic is available on several 2022 Tacoma trim levels. Look for Blue Crush on SR5, TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport and Limited.

Blue Crush is unique in that it gives customers that dark bluish option. Actually, it is more of a blue-purple shade. Quite brilliant when in the sun, too.

More 2022 Tacoma Updates

Tacoma TRD Pro features an increased suspension lift of 1.5 inches in front and .5 inches in the rear. Look for redesigned 16-inch black TRD wheels with new Goodyear tires as well.

We will see new TRD Pro stamping along the rear quarter panel, as well as available hood graphics.

Drivers looking to go off the road will benefit from new TRD forged upper control arms that provide additional suspension travel.

The re-tooled 2022 Tacoma Trail Edition also utilizes a suspension lift (1.1 inches in front and .5 inches in rear).

This Tacoma Trail is exclusively offered in Double Cab 4x4 configuration.

The bronze 16-inch TRD wheels will definitely make a statement (along with the heritage-inspired “TOYOTA” front grille.
I am curious if buyers will be more interested in this updated “off-roading-centric” 2022 Trail Edition versus the current 2021 offering.
