There's been an effort among some EAA members in San Jose / Silicon Valley to reach out to the hotrodding community to entice them into building EV conversions.

But there's another angle to consider of performance accessories for the "ready made" electric cars

On Friday I was outside working on my car, and there was some AT&T Linemen working on lines in the neighborhood, and they came over to look at the car and talk with me about it. Turns out the two of them are hobby hotrod builders.

And I see you used the picture of my car again ... cool

John Wayland .. the owner/builder of the White Zombie and other high performance electric drag cars .. got started as a hotrodder who found the EV bug.

Yeah, I wrote about it because I found this French guy who hot rods French old cars like Cotroen DSs and SMs. I thought the idea was great but he doesn't want to touch EVs. On the flip side, for $100,000 he could reproduce my cherished Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale!

I'll convert him sooner than later.

p.s., I'm about to do a longer interview with ADAMI. They convert Mustangs to hybrids with a lot of performance.
