Chrysler says that the government's data is incomplete and that their proposed recall of approximately 2.7 million Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Liberty SUVs is flawed.
I cannot see how this is a good move on their part.

I understand that they are facing a massive recall but still...there seems to have been a lesson to be learned from Toyota's recall issues.

because all the average consumer is going to see (no matter what the story reads) is "Chrysler wont recall cars that the government found unsafe".
I expect that if this doesnt pan out, they will resort to "old chrysler" excuses.
