Twitter blogger Jeff Roberts has share several interesting images of Tesla Giga Texas, in one of which it shows great view into Cybertruck general assembly at Giga Texas from yesterday. From these images you can see that Tesla engineers and Cybertruck assembly workers are moving quick! You can even see Kuka assembly bots set up in stations.
Earlier we have seen some Cybertruck equipments were sitting outside for months with no movement, but now that one got inside. Let's go now, and hopefully within months we will see the Cybertruck rolling off of this assembly line from Giga Texas.
I think Tesla is on the tail end of building those and should maybe see test bodies by mid June. And probably it's only a matter of time before the windows are blocked. It’s all too convenient that we could hypothetically see Cybertrucks being made inside the factory. I wonder how long they’ll block the casting windows too.
I express my thanks to Robert for sharing these pictures. Great shot of the Cyber-Line, if I can put it that way.
A busy Sunday at Giga Texas! Entrance ready for stainless, lots more castings and Cyber robots? #Cybertruck #Tesla #GigaTexas pic.twitter.com/ekx60BIpzk— Jeff Roberts (@peterdog15) May 7, 2023
3 days ago we found out that Tesla bought a lot of parts for the Cybertruck. Lots of people are interested in how well the Cybertruck will do because it could change the way we think about electric cars and pickup trucks. Tesla has been working hard to get the Cybertruck ready for production, and we even got to see some pictures of the factory where they're making it.
So what happened three days ago was that we learned that a company in Korea called Seoyon E-Hwa got a big order from Tesla for interior parts for the Cybertruck. They're going to be making the A, B, and C pillars, and they're going to keep making them until 2028. It's a really big order that's worth almost $230 million in US dollars!
