Tesla Starts Testing Undisguised Cybertruck Alpha Prototype With a Handful of Changes

Tesla's Cybertruck has been a topic of conversation since its reveal in 2019, with many speculating about how the futuristic concept will translate into a production vehicle. Now, as Tesla begins testing its "Alpha" prototypes, we finally have some concrete details about what to expect from the much-hyped electric truck.

Firstly, it seems that Tesla has made some significant changes to the Cybertruck's design. While the overall shape is still unmistakably Cybertruck, the company has made various alterations to the exterior, including tweaking the headlights and LED light bar and reducing the overall dimensions, a member of the Cybertruck Owners Club forum noted in the forum discussion. These changes are likely aimed at making the truck more practical for everyday use and complying with road regulations.

One noticeable change is the addition of orange turn signals just above the blacked-out bumper. This is a departure from the original concept, which had the turn signals integrated into the headlights. The Cybertruck also now features a pair of triangular-shaped wing mirrors and a large single windshield wiper that rests alongside the driver's side A-pillar: a part that Tesla reported orders from a Korean company for the Cybertruck.

While these changes might seem minor, they give us a better idea of what the final production version of the Cybertruck will look like. It's clear that Tesla is taking the time to refine the design and ensure that the vehicle will be a success in the marketplace.

But what's perhaps most interesting about these new developments is what they say about Tesla as a company. Tesla has always done things its own way, and the Cybertruck is no exception. The fact that the company has been willing to make changes to the design based on feedback from fans and potential customers shows that Tesla is willing to listen and adapt, even when it comes to its most groundbreaking products.

At the same time, however, Tesla's approach to the Cybertruck also shows the company's confidence in its own vision. Despite the naysayers who have criticized the truck's unconventional design, Tesla has stuck to its guns and continued to develop the vehicle. This is a company that is not afraid to take risks and push boundaries, even in the face of skepticism.

Overall, the testing of the Cybertruck "Alpha" prototypes is an exciting development for Tesla fans and electric vehicle enthusiasts alike. While we still don't know all the details about the production version of the truck, these new images and videos give us a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come. And they remind us once again that when it comes to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the automotive industry, Tesla is leading the charge.
