Elon Musk talks about Tesla designing a small hatchback in Germany. That would mean building a Tesla Hatchback at Giga Berlin.
Musk was asked on Twitter if Tesla could build a “smaller European style hatchback” and the CEO responded: “Probably a good one to design & engineer in Germany.”
At the very least, it sounds like Musk is interested in the idea.
Imagine a Tesla hatchback for Europe, which costs 25,000 euros before incentives, or even 30k. It would be a great success in Europe. Absolutely, no insane specs, but also – in the Tesla tradition – no slow car either.
