This looks really good. I didn't know that a compact excavator weights this much. Learned from a friend that it weights 8,000 lb, but when looked up, saw that they can weight 10,000 lb. It's good to see the 2016 Chevy Silverado performing this way.
I read about this Silverado in a Facebook discussion, which another 2016 Silverado owner, named Michael, shared this picture showing how his truck is towing a pretty heavily loaded camper. He says it towed pretty well up a steep hill in a field. He said the weight was about 8K. Here is that picture.
Watching at the first picture, some truck owners commented that that's not a steep hill. They say they have done way steeper hills. "Try going up a hill that steep with 2wd 2014 4.3 1500 after a good rain while hauling a 3000 pound trailer," suggested a group member named Joe.
Do you think in the first picture the white 2016 Silverado owner isn't pushing his truck and that he could have done way more? I contacted the owner and asked if we can use the video he posted in our Youtube to share with our readers. I have not yet heard from him. After I receive a positive reply, will update this story with the video. Currently the video is shared on a Facebook with limited viewing ability, that's why I am not able to embed it here.
But here are few more pictures from his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado towing.
What's the most you have ever towed with your truck? Also see how Chevy restyled Silverado after two years. Did you know that the next Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra could go Aluminum? And just for comparison the 2016 Ram packs 900lb-ft of Torque and tows 31,210lbs.
Keep on trucking.
