Due to the great demand for evening appointments, the online showroom for the brand's six electric models is now open Wednesdays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Motor Mobiles reports.
Online visitors to the specially equipped showroom receive live advice on the real vehicle via video chat. The KIA electric fleet is led by the new Sorento, which is represented as a plug-in hybrid. The plug-in versions of the XCeed crossover and the Ceed Sportswagon station wagon are included from the Ceed compact car family. There are also the Niro plug-in hybrid and the pure Stromer e-Niro and e-Soul.
Kia has long been one of the pioneers in drive electrification and is now leaving most of the other volume manufacturers behind when it comes to e-share in total sales:
Customers can access the online showroom via the KIA Germany website by clicking the “To online consultation” button on the relevant model page. The visit takes place as a zoom chat via internet browser and is therefore possible on different devices, whether PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
The customer can freely choose whether he wants to switch on his camera or not. The appointment for the online consultation is made using a calendar on the KIA website.
Registration is not necessary. All the customer has to do is provide an email address, telephone number, first and last name and zip code. The email with the zoom link will be sent to the specified address. The video chat is then started by opening the link at the agreed time. If a test drive or further advice is desired.
What does this mean? Two things are happening here. The first one is that we see growing interest in KIA electric vehicles and the addition of EV6 is going to further increase some people's interest in KIA EVs. The second thing is that KIA is expanding its digital customer service. By the way, KIA is doing another interesting thing: Kia has launched "Kia Service" Google Voice Assistant, a new application created to make service requests a fast and hassle-free experience..
