Tesla's innovation invites more competition and brings out new clones, writes TorqueNews EV reporter Douglas Stansfield, discussing some of the new electric cars being revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. One of them is Porsche's all-electric Mission E concept.
Mission E will be a production car only in five years, but is very promising and has some amazing characteristics.
With 600 HP Mission E prototype will run using advanced batteries, says Porsche. On a single charge this EV will go 310 miles and be recharged up to 80% capacity in 15 minutes.
The design of the Mission E or it's interiror may not look very "futuristic," but it has yet another cool feature: a hologram. The interior's holographic display is controlled by hand gestures.
Still, we don't know how much the Mission E will cost or what will be the price consumers will eventually pay to drive it. Anyone wants to take a guess?
