The new 2015 370Z NISMO hit Paris yesterday, showcasing the myriad of updates and changes made to the popular sports car in its performance-focused model. Several updates to improve refinement, update seating and equipment levels, and add design and engineering updates were showcased at the Paris Motor Show.
Nissan says that this is the sportiest and most focused 370Z to date. Those begin with exterior updates to include a new aero package. The front bumper has been completely redone to feature a larger air intake, additional air inlets ahead of the wheel arch, and new LED daytime running lights. Black headlamp bezels are another obvious touch while the usual NISMO trim appears at the base of the bumper fascia. The side sill and door mirrors have been streamlined and new 19-inch Rays alloy wheels are now featured.
A new rear bumper and spoiler design brings a more NISMO-oriented look to the rear of the new 2015 370Z. The smaller rear spoiler works in tandem with the front bumper changes to create a more aerodynamic flow and increased downforce at speed. This downforce is more evenly distributed as well. Nissan says that the new 370Z NISMO has more downforce than any segment rivals.
Inside, the 2015 370Z, like its GT-R NISMO bigger brother, sports tuned Recaro seating for better support and comfort. The shell-based construction means rigidity and weight improvements are also had.
The 3.7-liter V6 under teh hood delivers a 5.2-second 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) for the 2015 Nissan 370Z NISMO thanks to the performance improvements and dual exhaust tuning. Suspension enhancements also improve performance and track times.
The 2015 370Z NISMO is available only as a coupe in Europe with a manual six-speed gearbox.
