Maserati is following many manufacturers who offer direct extended warranty programs. The company has announced that for its U.S. and Canadian customers, a new 10-year warranty option will be made available.

Called the “Extra10 Warranty Program”, the new Maserati extended warranty program can extend the coverage of powertrain components – engine, gearbox, transmission – until the car turns 10 years old. The current Maserati included warranty lasts 4-year or 50,000-mile (whichever comes first) and is called the New Car Limited Warranty.
Maserati says that the new Exra10 Warranty Program is available to all customers who own any Maserati model. Torque News reached out and asked for pricing, but Maserati explained that the price will be announced on September 1st.
The plan offers flexibility. Customers have the option of purchasing extended powertrain coverage in one-year increments (e.g., 5th year to 10th year of ownership). Maserati says that the Extra10 Warranty Powertrain purchase option comes with unlimited mileage on covered components.
This plan might be ideal for shoppers considering acquiring an off-lease Maserati or who wish to purchase their car after the least period ends.
If you own a Maserati or are shopping new, this is an important program to take note of. Not all third-party extended warranty companies will offer a service contract (extended warranty) for high-line brands.
