Call it a concept 2015 Subaru Legacy, but this new Legacy sedan will be the forerunner of the next-generation Legacy. This new sleek, sexy model from Subaru will feature all-new styling cues that give us an advanced glimpse of the next Legacy sedan. Subaru tells us it definitely gives us a look at “styling cues for future Legacy models.”
That’s exciting news for the Subaru Legacy as it now becomes a global sedan that will compete with the top mid-size sedans in the world. Starting with the fifth-generation 2010 Legacy, Subaru moved more into the mainstream with new exterior and interior styling.
Back in 1989 when the Legacy first launched, it was designed to compete with Subaru’s top Japanese rivals the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Now the nex-gen Legacy will take a page from the Mercedes-Benz CLA playbook at give it new coupe-like styling.
The new Legacy Concept Subaru is bringing to the LA show next week will be first of all a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Subaru Legacy. That’s why the new Legacy Concept will be adorned with a custom Ocean Silver Metallic paint scheme. The “Silver” Edition concept model will feature a more distinguished front design with a new hexagonal grille and a sharper “hawk-eye” headlamp design.
It will come with Subaru’s excellent Symmetrical all-wheel-drive and the flared fender arches are filled with custom 21-inch wheels. Legacy Concept will also sport a new pronounced character line that flows the length of the sporty sedan into the short rear deck and ends in the rear tail lamps. The front headlamp design gets transferred to the back taillights which echo the hawk-eye design theme.
Like the new 2015 WRX, Subaru did not release many details of the new sleek sexy model, so stay tuned to Torque News as we give you the latest 2015 Subaru Legacy news as it’s revealed in LA.

Take this as a compliment, but when I look at this rendering I see the Hyundai Sonata. Which I consider a very nice looking car. Subaru is really making huge leaps in terms of overall looks. Can't wait to see the new WRX.
I agree John, the new design
