How well is Subaru of America doing after its new model Forester, Crosstrek, and Outback shortages the past year? Things are improving for Subaru of America (SOA) as the automaker did it again in June with another sales increase.
SOA reported a sales increase last month, continuing the upward trend in the first six months of 2023. Subaru says sales were up 27.8 percent in June, the eleventh consecutive month of month-over-month sales increases for the Camden, N.J. automaker.
In the first half of 2023, sales increased. SOA also reported year-to-date sales of 304,092, a 15 percent increase compared to 2022.
All models are up in June.
The upward sales trend results from the entire model lineup being up for the month. The BRZ sport coupe had the most significant jump in sales, followed by the WRX sports car, Impreza compact, and Forester compact SUV.
SOA reported 55,168 new Subaru vehicles were delivered to customers last month compared with June 2022, when they had 43,175 sales. "The first half of 2023 has been a resounding success thanks to the exceptional efforts of our Subaru retailers. This June, their efforts led to our 11th consecutive month of sales growth, an increase of 28 percent compared to June 2022," said Jeff Walters, new President, and Chief Operating Officer, Subaru of America.
