Kelley Blue Book (KBB) says the Subaru brand is the best mainstream brand when it comes to their vehicles having the highest projected resale value for their entire product portfolio. To win this honor, KBB says Subaru offers “crowd-pleasing” vehicles across their entire model line and they keep production well-matched to demand. The 2016 Subaru WRX performance sedan and Forester SUV are particular standouts for the brand.
This is the second year in-a-row that KBB has given the award to Subaru. In addition to being the best main stream brand again, The 2016 Subaru WRX and Subaru Forster are standout outs when it comes to holding their value. They are Top Ten Winners at number seven for the WRX performance sedan and number ten for the small Forester SUV.
The 2016 Subaru WRX wins the Best Sporty Compact Car award and KBB says the popular WRX will retain 61 percent of its value after 36 months and 49 percent after 60 months of ownership. The 2016 Subaru Forester retains 59.3 percent of its value after 36 months and 47.3 percent after 60 months.
The 2016 Subaru Legacy wins the Best Resale Value in the Mid-Size Car category and retains 54.3 percent of it value after 36 month and 39.3 percent after 60 months. The 2016 Subaru Crosstrek crossover was another standout and finished second in the Best SUV/Crossover category.
KBB likes Subaru for their quality, safety and comfort that appeals to a wide range of car shoppers. KBB says, “All-wheel drive is the hook, but enduring, all-around satisfaction is how Subaru continues to win loyal buyers and Best Resale Value Awards." The entire Subaru lineup is tops when it comes to holding their value, but the 2016 Subaru WRX and Forester standout even more for the brand.
