The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been touted as one of the best new all-electric models you can buy today. But the Solterra is more energy efficient. The hot new 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 with all-wheel-drive (long range) gets an estimated 110/87 city/highway and 98 combined MPGe.
What is the range of the 2023 Subaru Solterra?
How many miles can a Subaru Solterra go on a charge? The Solterra's StarDrive electric powertrain gives you an estimated range of over 220 miles (about 228-mile range) with standard Symmetrical all-wheel drive. The U.S.-spec Solterra does not come with a front-drive configuration.
How fast does the Subaru Solterra charge?
Subaru says at one of the DCFC stations can give you up to 80 percent of your battery capacity in about an hour.
What is the price of the Solterra?
The 2023 Solterra is offered in three trim levels, Premium, Limited, and Touring. Pricing for the Solterra Premium trim level starts at $46,220. The Limited trim carries a starting manufacturer's suggested retail price of $49,720. The top-of-the-line Touring trim is priced at $53,220. Prices include destination and delivery fees ($1,225). But you should be aware that Subaru says U.S. retailers set the actual price and may charge more.
With the recall, when will the Solterra be available for U.S. customers?
Subaru of America has not announced when the Solterra will arrive in U.S. showrooms. With production re-starting now, the 2023 Subaru Solterra could come before the end of the year.
With the EPA's release of the electric fuel efficiency of the all-new 2023 Subaru Solterra compact SUV, it comes in more energy efficient than the hot new Hyundai Ioniq 5 with all-wheel-drive. Now customers still have to wait to get their hands on one.
