Watch Pro Biker Drive Subaru Crosstrek Like a Rally Car [Video]

Why wouldn’t a Pro Biker and rally car racer drive his Subaru Crosstrek hard in the dirt like a rally car? Professional mountain bike freestyler, Brandon Semenuk teamed up with Subaru Canada and produced a short video. He takes his Trek mountain bike and Subaru Crosstrek into the high country for a little fun. Semenuk also owns a Subaru WRX STI rally car, so he knows a little bit about pushing hard and what an all-wheel-drive STI will do in the rally stages.

Both the Trek bike and Subaru Crosstrek are the unique Hyper Blue color that comes on the limited edition Subaru Hyper Blue 2016 WRX STI and BRZ sports cars. Semenuk, who has a number of Pro Bike awards also has a passion for rally racing. Last year he claimed his first ever national podium finishing in second place at Rally of the Tall Pines in November. He was driving his Subaru WRX STI. He has experience on the rally stages and pushes the Hyper Blue Crosstrek as hard as he rides his Trek mountain bike.

The 2016 Subaru Crosstrek has been in the news quite a bit lately and just picked up a residual value award from ALG for the very first time. Crosstrek was just announced as a 2016 ALG Canadian Residual Value award winner in the Compact Car segment. Subaru’s WRX/STI picked up the award in the Sports Car segment. Subaru also picked up ALG’s Best Mainstream Brand for the second consecutive year.
