There are many compact SUV shoppers looking for a vehicle that will serve double duty as an urban commuter during the week and a capable trail vehicle on the weekends. The 2020 Subaru Crosstrek is designed for those with active lifestyles and fits both well. If you add a few accessories, you have a vehicle that will own the trail.
The Crawford Overland Crosstrek Build Kit offers even more off-road performance to the already capable subcompact SUV. It’s based on the Grabowski Brothers Racing Crosstrek Desert Racer.
After weeks of being stuck inside, active individuals want to get outside and enjoy the outdoors exploring, going on hikes, mountain biking, trail running, fishing, camping, kayaking, and surfing. If you want to get further off the beaten path Crawford has additional off-road performance upgrades.
Can you put a lift kit on a Subaru Crosstrek?
Crawford Performance now offers a Crosstrek Overland Build Kit ($1,870) that offers additional off-road capabilities to the Crosstrek. It does come with a lift kit, Billet power blocks, Air oil separator, exhaust, and a custom rear bumper. Crawford says other off-road products are being added in the future.
Subaru designed the Crosstrek subcompact SUV for a young active demographic. All come with standard all-wheel-drive, 8.7-inches of ground clearance, and X-Mode for off-pavement activities.
Can you sleep in the Crosstrek?
The Crosstrek is big enough to throw a sleeping bag down and two people can sleep comfortably in the back. If you get a bike roof rack carrier, you can mount your mountain bikes on top and you are ready for the trail.
The 2020 Crosstrek subcompact SUV is perfect for getting you away from boring after the long stay-at-home orders. With Subaru’s standard Symmetrical all-wheel-drive, a few accessories, and the right gear, you can get far away from civilization and enjoy outdoor adventures this summer.
With a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Overland Build Kit, it won’t look completely like the model pictured here, but you can be well on your way to owning trails other small SUVs will be afraid to go.
