Back in December 2021, Tesla introduced a Cybertruck-inspired whistle. The so-called Cyberwhistle went on sale on Tesla’s online shop for $50 apiece.
At the time, Musk promoted the product by jokingly writing on Twitter “don’t waste your money on that silly Apple Cloth, buy our whistle instead!”
If you happen to be unfamiliar, the Apple Cloth is a piece of fabric “designed” by the tech giant to be used to clean screens of Apple products. Apple at the time was made fun of for charging $20 for a small piece of fabric.

However, despite Elon Musk making fun of the Cyberwhisle by comparing it to the Apple Cloth, the product nonetheless sold out within hours of being offered.
A lot of people at the time shared their disappointment for not being able to purchase this novelty item. Soon after, prices for the Cyberwhistle shot up and were selling on the secondary market for as much as $200.
Tesla, most likely noticing this trend, back in May brought back the Cyberwhistle to the company’s online shop. However, one thing different about the Cyberwhistle at that time was that it can only be purchased using DogeCoin.
For the last batch of Cyberwhitles Tesla was asking 645 Dogecoins for the product. At that time, 1 dogecoin was trading for around $0.0875, so 645 doge coins meant about $55.

However, unlike the first batch of Cyberwhitles, the product sold out quickly and today Tesla has for the third time brought back the Cyberwhitle to the company’s online shop. However, this time the EV maker has increased the price of the Cybertruck-inspired whistle to 885 doge coins.

Currently, 1 DogeCoin is trading at around $0.06 so 885 Dogecoins and comes out to about $53. This is a slight price decrease from last time. However, that is if you calculate it in dollar terms. However, if you calculate it in DogeCoin terms the Cyberwhistle has increased in price by a whopping 37%.
And if you’re asking what you’ll be getting for your 885 doge coins. Tesla in the product description writes “inspired by Cybertruck, the limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a premium collectible made from medical-grade stainless steel with a polished finish. The whistle includes an integrated attachment feature for added versatility.”
As of now, the Cyberwhistle still appears to be available for purchase at Tesla’s online shop. However, if last time is any predictor, you should order your Cybertruck-inspired whistle soon before it sells out.
