Tesla Model S Price Reduction
Tesla has reduced the prices of its luxury vehicles by a significant amount. Here is how much the Model S was reduced:
* Model S AWD (Long Range): From $94,990 to $89,990
* Model S Plaid: From $114,990 to $109,990
The Model S AWD (Long Range) has 2 motors and 405 miles of range at its highest value with the default tires, a top speed of 149 mph and a 0-60 mph of 3.1 seconds. This makes it a very fast car, still with a long range. It's a great luxury sports all electric car.
The Model S Plaid has 3 motors and 396 miles of range at its highest value with the default tires, a top speed of 200 mph and a 0-60 mph of 1.99 seconds. This makes it an incredibly quick car and the fastest volume production car on earth. It's a 4 door family car that runs like a modified NASCAR race car.
Over time, I expect to see the prices of the Model S drop as Tesla is continuing to do cost-cutting measures to make its vehicles affordable to everyone.

Tesla Model X Price Reduction
Tesla has also reduced the price of its Model X luxury SUV. Here is how much the Model X was reduced:
* Model X AWD (Long Range): From $109,990 to $99,990
* Model X Plaid: From $119,990 to $109,990
It's interesting to see that the Model S Plaid and the Model X Plaid are now exactly the same price.
The Model X AWD (Long Range) has two motors and a range of 351 miles with the default set of tires and a 0-60 mph of 3.8 seconds. That's plenty fast for a luxury SUV with a sizeable amount of room.
The Model X Plaid has three motors and a range of 333 miles with the default set of tires and a 0-60 mph of 2.5 seconds. That's ridiculously fast for a family sized SUV with lots of room. The Model X Plaid is a huge SUV that drives like a sports car.
I also expect to see the Model X comes down in price as Tesla implements cost-cutting measures.
