Truthfully, I won’t write another word about the reinvented North American specific 2017 Honda Civic Type-R before driving one. I’ve spent measurable amounts of cyber ink on Type-R over the years, and have sat behind the wheel of two, darn close to production trim concept Type-R’s. And yes, not only do we discover copious amounts of head, shoulder and legroom, the driver’s seat while aggressively bolstered, remains comfortable enough for the long run.
The balance of the interior is pure Honda Performance Type-R, right down to the red glow of the instrument cluster and digitized dash.
