This fall will see Audi introduce the A4 Allroad. The Allroad takes a standard A4 wagon, adds about 1.3 inches to the ground clearance, body cladding, and underbody protection. While Europe gets a wide selection of engines (five diesel and one gas), the U.S. version makes due with a 2.0L TFSI four-cylinder producing 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and Audi's new Quattro Ultra AWD system - decouples the rear axle to save fuel.
In terms of standard equipment, the A4 Allroad comes with adaptive dampers, three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, power front seats, forward collision warning, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Options include Audi's virtual cockpit system, color heads-up display, Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound Sound System, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.
Pricing for the 2017 A4 Allroad begins at $44,950 for the base Premium. The mid-level Premium Plus starts at $47,950, and the top-line Prestige costs $52,350. All prices include a $950 destination charge.
