This is the 458 MM Speciale which made its debut at the company's Fiorano test track where the new owner and Ferrari's test driver, Dario Benuzzi turned some laps.
Ferrari's Design Centre was tasked with designing the 458 to the owner's specifications - dramatic lines and "a ‘visor’ effect for the glasshouse". The end result is stunning with blacked-out windshield pillars to provide the 'visor' effect, larger side scoops, and a rear end that has some hints of recent Ferrari models - the 488 GTB and F12. Most of the body panels are aluminum, while the bumpers are carbon fiber. Ferrari has also fitted new head and taillights.
The 458 MM Speciale is finished in an off-white color called Bianco Italia. The colors of the Italian flag run the entire length of the vehicle.
Ferrari isn't saying if there were any changes to the 458 Speciale's powertrain. It would be safe to assume that the 4.5L V8 engine with 597 horsepower hasn't been messed with.
